Tutorial: Curling Short Hair with a Flat Iron

Shaheen Rajan

I have straight hair, and while they behave on most days, sometimes they decide to go limp – deader than dead. So on days when my hair do not cooperate or if I have an event/party to go to, I resort to this hairstyle. I curl up the ends with a straighener (I have shared the reason why I prefer it over an auto curler and curling iron in the video), which gives them an immediate bounce and that bed hair look that was all the rage in 2012.

Tools and Products:

Remington Flat Iron – it’s almost 6 years old, and this particular model has been discontinued. I bought mine from Naheed in Karachi for Rs.2,000. The closest model I could find from currently available range would be Pro-Sleek and Curl Flat Iron (by Remington).

Heat Protection Spray: Schwarzkopf got2b Spray schutzengel 220°C Hitzeschutz. I got mine from DM, for 3.90€

Dry Shampoo – COLAB Trockenshampoo Original Love, also from DM for 3.95€. I recently bought it to try and found my good ol’ trusted Batiste better.

Hope you enjoy it, and let me know in the comments your feedback in the comment section below. Also, what kind of videos do you want me to make more of?
