Most of you know that I have a monthly subscription to a beauty box. I have previously written about it in detail (check it out here). I received this month’s box last weekend, and am here to unbox it with you.
The box was octagon instead of rectangular, and had a clear round bag (with a lemon print and yellow trims) inside. My first thought after looking at it was that it would make a great travel bag for toiletries. I unzipped the bag and found:
Dr Botanicals’ Lemon Superfood all-in-one Rescue Butter: it is vegan, cruelty-free and 96% natural. The multi-purpose balm can be used as a moisturiser (face and body), treatment for dry skin and cleanse skin.
My Little Beauty’s Vitamin Pink – Magic Cheek Stick: A rose-tinted blush in lipstick form. It contains bees wax, miracle tree oil, olive butter and shimmer. What makes it special is that it claims to adapt to your skin’s PH-level, and the colour is unique for everyone. I have yet to test the claim but it sure does smell beautiful.
Artdeco’s all-in-one Mascara – Mini Edition: Long lasting mascara for styling and volume. The mascara wand combines two brushes, and the interlocked fibers create a voluminous look. It is smudge-proof, so perfect for hot summer days as well.
Refreshing Eye Pads with Lemon Extract: Keep them in the fridge over night and onto your eyes to relieve puffiness. I like that they are reusable and come in their own container for hygienic purposes. Now no one needs to know what you did last night!
Ceramic Lemon Squeezer: I’d call it more kitchen than lifestyle product; a cute, palm-sized sized lemon squeezer for quick and fresh lemonades.
Of all the above mentioned products, I am most excited about the cheek stick and eye pads. Make sure you follow me on Instagram for swatches and final verdict.
