I flew out to Berlin last weekend to attend StyleRanking’s sixth edition of Beauty Blogger Café event.
A little background for newbies on the blog – StyleRanking is a Düsseldorf based influencer marketing agency. Among many other things, they connect brands with influencers in beauty, fashion and parenting sector. Their Beauty Blogger Cafe event connects local brands with bloggers and influencers in the country. There is an accreditation process to secure your place
Back to present – the event was held at Beach Mitte, with over 100 influencers. It is a beautiful venue, and as the sun shone bright, it almost felt like a real beach. Almost.
The highlight of the evening for me was discovering local beauty brands, with their sheet masks, miracle capsules and hair tools to die for. Some of them were generous enough to share samples. So I might review them in near future. Here are my favourites for you to check out in your local DM stores:
#b.e. ROUTINE is a skincare brand that was launched about a year ago. It has quirky packaging, bold colors, targeted approach to skin care and is environment friendly. The boss-lady who runs it has recently launched a range of hand creams named after her three cats (how cute!). Their products are available at DM, and can be shopped online as well.
Too Cool For School is your answer to Korean beauty prayers in Germany. Six of this Korean brand’s products, including sheet masks and moisturizers, were launched recently and are available at DM. Egg-centric, with intense moisturisation and magical absorption – just in time for winters.
Schaebens Serum come in pink, blue and green capsules, focused on hydration and skin-deep wellness.
Wellmaxx showcased a number of their collections for face and body, and the experts were there to consult. Their social media manager and one of my favorite bloggers in K-Town, Julia Schaeffner suggested the Hyaluron range for my skin.
My absolute favourite product find for the day would have to be Philips’ StyleCare Auto Curler. It automatically wraps your strand of hair around the wand, and curls it with as much precision as you want. You can choose the heat level and time duration. It can do a head like mine in 15-20 minutes! Absolute love.
Joli Visage’s girls were there with Nyx for quick makeovers. It’s currently the only school in Germany that is allowed to train as a state-approved make-up artist. So check them out if you aspire to become a certified makeup artist and/or beautician in Germany.
Congratulations StyleRanking for a successful 6th BeautyBloggerCafé event!!
