Chopra sisters have recently been making news for all the right reasons. Priyanka was titled the second most beautiful woman in the world by Buzznet and Parineeti is busy promoting her latest movie, Meri Pyaari Bindu, set to release on May 12th 2017.
What’s more, following her elder cousin’s footsteps, Parineeti also tried her hand at singing, and we have been playing it on repeat. Lyrics for her début track, Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi, are penned by Kausar Munir, and music has been composed by Jigar Saraiya and Sachin Sanghvi. She sounds husky and her voice embraces emotions beautifully.
She is not the first actor to sing for her film; Anushka Sharma, Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kapoor have already taken to mic for their respective movies. Being involved in more than one aspect of film is the new norm in B-Town, and less vocally-endowed celebs have picked on script and direction in an attempt to be more involved in the process.
We can’t help but draw parallels – while Priyanka seems to be acing on all other fronts, Parineeti has conquered the singing front, and we think the younger Chopra is a more impressive singer.
