One of Dubai’s home-grown cafes, Lime Tree Café has introduced a range of gluten-free products, which will be available across all three of its outlets.
In addition, Lime Tree Café’s outlet on Sheikh Zayed Road will host a gluten-free bakery pop-up to celebrate the launch, from May 25 – 28 2016, between 8am-3.30pm.
The pop-up bakery has designed its own recipes and menu with a selection of cakes, slices, muffins, cookies, artisan cracker range along with gluten-free breads for sandwiches and toast. There are options to indulge your sweet tooth as well – triple-layer Tiramisu, carrot cake, chocolate goddess & wild berry and citrus cakes.
The launch was inspired by LimeTree’s owner, Corinne Bowker, and her personal struggle as a Coeliac sufferer and finding gluten-free dining options in Dubai. She said: “When dining out with friends and family, it is often difficult to find a menu with more than one gluten-free option on it. We have always wanted to be a Café destination that caters for everyone in the community, regardless of likes, dislikes and allergies. Expanding our menu to include our new gluten-free range from the gluten Free Bakery is in line with that vision. We don’t want our gluten intolerant customers to miss out – especially on cakes and the yummy stuff!”
The range of gluten-free cakes and breads will be available for pre-order and pick-up from Lime Tree’s Cafés from Wednesday, 25 May 2016.
