Harvey Nichols always puts on a great show, and its SS’15 preview was no different.

Based in the Madinat Arena, over 700 guests enjoyed an evening of quintessentially English with a theatrical approach, and the venue transformed into a ‘Secret Garden’.  Guests were led through a maze of topiary trees, hanging ivy and hedged archways before arriving at their seats in front of the focal point of the room; the Harvey Nichols – Dubai authentic gates opening to allow models through to the circular catwalk with an old, abandoned fountain in the centre.

The perfect setting for the Spring/Summer season with four front rows, something never seen before in the region. Inspired by the runways of New York, London, Milan and Paris, the Show certainly had an International Fashion Week ethos.

The evening wear finale was introduced with dramatic flair, featuring designers such as Oscar de la Renta and Monique Lhullier.

Harvey Nichols’ runway was a checklist for all the fashionistas, showcasing trends to make headlines this season; lace, layering, Bohemian, clashing prints, bold botanicals, ‘under the sea’, blue hues, embellished statement details from a great mix of brands including Stella McCartney, Carven, Alexander McQueen, Self Portrait and Chloe for women’s.
