Mulberry has just announced the appointment of a new Creative Director, Johnny Coca, who will join from 8th July 2015, and is moving from Céline where he is Head Design Director for leather goods, shoes, hard accessories, jewelry and sunglasses.
Coca is a leading international luxury and fashion accessories designer with experience both at Celine and the LVMH group. He studied art, architecture and design at the École des Beaux-Arts and École Boulle in Paris, and is greatly inspired by British culture and style. He teaches at Central St Martins and intends to ensure that Mulberry continues its tradition of encouraging new young talent as he helps to build the next generation at Mulberry.
As the brand’s Creative Director, Coca will be responsible for all of Mulberry’s collections, reporting to Godfrey Davis, Chairman and CEO.
