Post Wax Breakout – A NIGHTMARE!

Facial hair is so yucky – and a beauty blogger cannot afford them. However, if laser treatment is beyond you and you resort to waxing, beware. I had an ugly experience every time (twice to be exact) I had it done, and yet I went to the salon the day before yesterday for the same. This time I headed to Spaces at Oasis Center. I’m not sure why I’ve had this awful reaction.

I have minor inflammation already, and some ugly pus-filled pimples have started to raise their disgusting heads (I am really sorry for making you want to puke). And just then I came across this post with extremely graphic pictures of a person with facial breakout.
I am positively traumatized. I will go put on some ointment once home and keep the area cool and clean. I’m not sure what else I can do. I’ve been having a look at the different after wax care products that you can buy, and I’m thinking about getting some. I can’t believe how bad my face looks. There are zits everywhere and I look so red! I have no idea what might have caused this but I’m so embarrassed. I haven’t been out of the house for a week now as I’m scared people are going to laugh at me or something! And if you have any other remedies that you have personally tried, do share please. I need to get my face sorted out as quickly as possible so if you have any recommendations, please let me know!
Love,
Super worried S

Since morning, I am just dabbing it with tissue dipped in ice cold water, to keep it clean and dry, and it hasn’t got worse since then (thankfully). I will try this mixture tonight – thanks a gazillion *hugs*
