Moving to a new place and adapting to it’s climatic conditions can be quite taxing for your skin. When I moved to Dubai, the dryness and heat got to me – and my skin. It went lackluster, peeling and dry. N got me moisturizers, but they offered only temporary relief, and the oily sheen only made it worse.

After experimenting some, I finally have my army prepared. This includes the international rule of skincare (scrub, cleanse and moisturize), with a twist. Wanna know what my secret weapons are? Behold, as I reveal them right here for you:

My skincare routine includes:

  1. Scrubbing with St. Ives Apricot Scrub – Invigorating. It deep cleans, instantly leaving skin smooth and clear.

  2. Nivea’s Gentle Cleansing Cream Wash is extremely rich in moisture and mild on skin. The micro beads do a great job at cleansing, without leaving your skin dry or parched.
  3. Instead of a full-blown moisturizer,  I use BodyShop’s Seaweed Mattifying Day Cream. The water based formula moisturizes, keeps the sheen at bay and even works as a makeup primer. Immense goodness in such a small bottle!
Good to Know: None of these products are overly priced and difficult to get your hands on.
So, how do you like any/all of my weapons for skincare in winter? Leave you thoughts in the comment box below cherries <3
