After intricate designs and caviar on nails, the latest introduction in the enamel world is magnetic nail color. It’s a rather fascinating product, which we sampled at Raintree Spa (during PBBC Meetup).

How it works?
Like any other nail color, you apply it (two coats at max). The cap of the nail color comes with magnets. You put on the cap on your nail (right after color application), without touching the nail. Magnets in the cap will attract the shimmer in your color, and create a 3D effect design. Our magnet was shaped like waves and that’s what we got!

This technique is fairly new in our part of the world. However, you don’t need to visit a salon to get it; Quite a few brands offer magnetic nail colors now, and you can easily apply them at home. Some of the renowned brands include Essie, OPI, Sally Hansen, Pupa, Sephora and Barry M.

What I love about it:
- It takes less then a minute
- They result is amazing
- It’s 100% DIY, and you do not need any extra tools
What I don’t like about it:
- There will never be magnetic nail colors without shimmer
- It starts chipping after 2 days
CC Verdict: You should try it out (maybe at the Raintree Spa). There won’t be any disappointments.
