If you are new to cooking, like me, you are bound to make mistakes. My most infamous mistake would be to forget adding salt – always.
Why do I always forget?
My main source of recipes is mom, and she has been cooking for years. She casually forgets to mention salt most of the times, as it isn’t one of the main ingredients. And she would always know when she tastes her cooking if there is salt in it or she needs to add some. I, on the other hand, have no clue till I dish out the food.
Dissolve some salt in warm water, pour it evenly in your cooking pot and then cook on low flame for a few minutes. Just make sure you don’t burn the rice.
