HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, has unveiled a new generation of Android™ Nougat run Nokia smartphones – Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6, along with the return of iconic Nokia 3310.
While we are excited to see what kind of product Nokia is going to relaunch itself with, it’s 3310 that I am most excited about. Boasting an incredible 22-hour talk-time and month-long stand-by, it will be available in warm red, yellow, blue and grey, at a retail price of €49.
And what happens to the infamous snake? Well, it will be snaking its way back into people’s palms with a new version available to play on Messenger, part of Facebook’s Instant Games cross-platform experience.
Other Nokia phones revealed at Mobile World Congress were:
Nokia 6 features 5.5” HD screen, it is crafted from a single block of 6000 series aluminium in matte black silver, tempered blue and copper. It has a smart audio amplifier with dual speakers for an enhanced entertainment experience, and will be retailed at €229.
Nokia 5 features Corning Gorilla Glass laminated 5.2” IPS HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 mobile platform and Adreno 505 graphics processor, and comes in matte black silver, tempered blue and copper, to be retailed at €189.
Nokia 3 features a 5” display, 8MP wide aperture cameras, and four colour options – silver white, matte black, tempered blue and copper white. It will be retailed at €139.
All phones will be available in single SIM and dual SIM variants, and will be available in Q2, 2017 in APAC, India, Middle East, Africa and Europe.
So, who’s going to buy Nokia 3310 guys?? MEEE!!
